Tenants
7 steps to finding your new home.
1. Registering
Once you have registered with us by visiting our office, telephoning on 020 7581 3253, or by registering on line we will gather a detailed outline of the type of property you are interested in and search our database for possible properties.
2. Viewing
With a clear understanding of your requirements, we will accompany you on viewings at times to suit.
3. Selection
Once you have found a suitable property and terms have been agreed we will take up references (bank, employer, personal or similar) and forward them to the Landlord for approval.
4. Paperwork
At the same time we will prepare a Tenancy Agreement which both you and the Landlord should sign indicating both parties wish to proceed.
5. Rent and deposit
You will be asked to provide us with rent in advance in accordance with the terms agreed together with a deposit (usually six weeks rent).
6. Inventory
Patterson Bowe will employ an inventory clerk who will check the condition of the property with you and produce a written report to be sent to both parties.
7. Congratulations!
Keys can be handed over and you can move in!
